It is with the greatest sadness and regret that we write to announce that our dear colleague Professor Svetlana Boym passed away in the morning of August 5th, 2015. It is very hard to imagine that someone of her extraordinary vitality could be taken from us, still in the middle of a range of creative scholarly and artistic projects; it will take time even to begin to assimilate this loss.
The funeral was held at 10:00am on Friday, August 7th at the Levine Chapels, at 470 Harvard Street in Brookline.
