Congratulations to William Granara on being named Walter Channing Cabot Fellow

Professor William Granara, Professor of the Practice of Arabic on the Gordon Gray Endowment, was named Walter Channing Cabot Fellow for the current academic year. The Cabot Fellowships are given annually to a select few faculty colleagues in recognition of their achievements and scholarly eminence in the fields of “literature, history or art.” Professor Granara was honored with this award to reflect his outstanding contributions to his field, including the publication of his 2019 book Narrating Muslim Sicily: War and Peace in the Medieval Mediterranean World.
