Girón Negrón was awarded a Walter Channing Cabot Fellowship for the academic year 2025-2026 in recognition of his achievements and scholarly eminence in the fields of “literature, history or art,” including the 2025 publication El envés de lo inefable: estudios de literatura mística española.
