READING IN TRANSLATION

Wednesday, December 6, 4-5:30pm

Thompson Room / Barker Center / 12 Quincy Street

Join the Department of Comparative Literature for a late afternoon reading dedicated to the art of literary translation. To celebrate the inauguration of the Graduate Secondary Field in Translation Studies, students currently enrolled in Translation Studies 260, taught by Dr. Thomas Wisniewski, will read selections from their works-in-progress from a range of languages, including Japanese, Yiddish, Greek, German, and Spanish. A reception will follow the reading, open to all. This event is sponsored by the Elson Fund & Provostial Fund for the Arts & Humanities.
