Liu Liu is a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Comparative Literature, mentored by Professor David Damrosch. Her research interests include world literature, world-systems analysis, spatial literary studies, digital humanities, global Anglophone literature, and contemporary Chinese literature. Liu Liu is a Ph.D. Candidate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Her Ph.D. project focuses on contemporary American world literature trends. In her project, she explores why world literature has become a frontier issue in contemporary American academia and investigates American scholars’ groundbreaking contributions to the reconstruction of world literature, aiming to conduct a comprehensive study on contemporary American world literature trends.
