The 2023 winners of the Susan Anthony Potter Prize were Carli Cooperstein for her essay ““La fin d’un rêve”: Exploring Involuntary Memory and Artistic Creation in Le Palais Idéal” and Adam Mahler for his essay entitled ““Ai flores, ai flores do verde pino”: The Ecopoetics of the Galician-Portuguese Pine Forest.”
Founded as a graduate program in 1904 and joining with the undergraduate Literature Concentration in 2007, Harvard’s Department of Comparative Literature operates at the crossroads of multilingualism, literary study, and media history.
