Please join us in congratulating Emily Greenwood, James M. Rothenberg Professor of the Classics and of Comparative Literature, who has been elected as a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy! The latest cohort of Fellows highlights the depth and breadth of the SHAPE (Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy) disciplines and reflects the importance of interdisciplinary research. This award is especially impressive as the news comes just on the heels of her election as an Honorary Fellow of Downing College, Cambridge, earlier this summer.
What an incredible achievement, Professor Greenwood!
Founded as a graduate program in 1904 and joining with the undergraduate Literature Concentration in 2007, Harvard’s Department of Comparative Literature operates at the crossroads of multilingualism, literary study, and media history.
